The Friends of Saint Patrick was founded in 1987 in Walpole, MA by a group of local citizens to honor an individual who has made outstanding contribution to the community. The Friends of Saint Patrick have donated over $170,000 to charities including Wrentham State School, Friends of Walpole Public Library, Project Face, Walpole Council on the Aging, WEEI 590 Fund, Walpole Food Pantry, The Jimmy Fund, Walpole Scholarship Fund, American Cancer Society, Walpole V.N.A. Walpole Lions, Boston Food Bank, Miracles for Moody, Caritas Good Samaritan Hospice, Longview Farm and The Friends of St. Nick.
The Friends of Saint Patrick hold their annual luncheon in mid-March celebrating Ireland’s most famous saint by coming together for food, drink, laughter and song. We are proud to honor The Friends of Saint Patrick as our 2013 Honorees of the Year!
